I'm shrinking my gallery, mainly because I'm sick of how directionless it is.  I want to focus on chatracter and creature design and create more complete images with a sense of narrative.  So the whole thing is being trimmed.  You can still see all my old tat via the 'browse' option, but my main folders will feature much more relevant stuff.  I'll also be branching back into digital painting too, mainly because I enjoy it and I don't want to box myself into one medium or style.

Thanks to all the peeps who've been helping me out recently (you know who you are),  I've really learnt some stuff from you guys and appreciate it greatly.

It's not normal for me to come all over as a fan-girl but, I've just come back from London and the amazing gig that was The Flaming Lips.  Such a great time I've never been to a more mind blowing show.  So I thought I share some Pix with you all and spread the lurv.  Taken with a point-and-click so don't expect muchos zoom or quality for that matter

I did come to the conclusion however, that living in London would drive me utterly nuts.   County bumpkin that I am :S

I'm sick of the fact that I keep slipping back into my comfort zone.  I'm talking about toons.  I know its a cop out but find myself slipping back without realising it.  It's not like I'm even proud of my toon either   They don't stretch me in any way.

So, no more!  At least until I get better in other areas.  

I'm hoping to focus on landscapes, people & slightly more real fantsy/concept characters.  I'm also rethinking & re-learning my rendering & drawing skills.  Many apologies if my gallery seems a bit dull for a but.

So I want a severe bollocking off u guys if any toons creep in.  It's the only way I learn

I found out today that Andrew Loomis' books are to be re-printed.  In their entirity.  And the amazing [link] pre-ordered me Figure drawing for All Its Worth.

So , many apologies if you don't hear from me for a while

So yeah,  I've been thinking (dangerous I know) about submitting Tee designs to Threadless.  Probably differing slightly from my Redbubble stuff, more simple shading methinks.

My question to my dear followers is;

would you actually wear my art?  Is it the kind of stuff you would actually buy?  Are there any particular parts to my gallery that you like more than others?

If not why?  Could I change my designs or style to be more commercially appealing?

Comments very much appreciated here as I have zero clue about designing things like this.  Though I do love tees :3

My PC is overheating again.  The plastic smell is unreal >grumble grumble<

Happy New Year to you all   I'm hoping this one will be a good one for all.

This year I've decided to carry on last years resolution of trying to improve myself artistically.  Mainly becuase I'm really pleased with my progress last year & it's the only resolution that I've actually ever kept .  I think realistic goals is the key to sucess here.  Rather that reaching for an urealistic vision of what my art should be I'm going try focus on one thing at a time to improve & work on a style that is me - not anyone else, no matter how much I admire them.  So hopefully it'll be another good year.

Suggestions on how I can improve are, as always, welcome

First of all; Merry Christmas to you all   I hope it's been a good one for you.

I've been off Da for a while thanks to flu (grumble) & couldn't believe the amount of messages in my inbox. I am seriously not used to this lol! So a big thank all of you who have commented & faved Octini, and an even bigger thanks to those who suggested it for a DD!  It's very much apreciated

Anyway enough gushing, I have 3 weeks worth of no art to catch up on.  I wonder if I still know how to use a pencil?  Bloody flu.  Take my advice, never work in an office - it's a sodding breading ground for flu
